This is actually a tough one for me. Don't think I can betray my East Coast Rap, though. Or, for that matter, someone who rhymes Socrates, philosophies, hypotheses, mockeries and robberies in the first line.
I vote A-ha, just for potential. It's later refracted through the first literal music video. I can't imagine that such a thing would have been possible with the Wu Tang video.

I never got into Wu-Tang as much as I probably should've in my youth… at least not as much as I got into daggy FM radio.
